PTI, GDA seeks JI support for Senate election

KARACHI: A delegation of Islamic Republic of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) met with Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) city ameer Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman to hunt the party’s support in Sindh for the PTI and GDA candidates for the Senate.

During the meeting control at Idara Noor-i-Haq, the party leaders conjointly mentioned problems regarding the plenty in Sindh, notably city.

Those who attended the meeting enclosed PTI Senate candidate from Sindh Saifullah Abro, GDA leader Pir Sadaruddin monarch and Fida Hussain Niazi.

The Senate elections are going to be endured March three.

In a similar development reported  these days, Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) on weekday declared its support for the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) in Senate elections from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province.

According to sources, the Jamaat-i-Islami can contest on a seat reserved for girls whereas the PPP would compete for a technocrat seat when each parties reached AN understanding these days.

Besides, this, the terrorist group had conjointly declared to support PDM’s candidate from the capital of Pakistan seat, Yousuf Raza Gilani within the Senate elections.
